How do you use the imix?
Drop a miXer into a bottle of gel polish or nail polish, screw the cap back on the bottle, place it on the imix, turn it on and watch the gel or polish regain its color.
The standard mixing time is 5 minutes, but you can set the imix to a longer or shorter time.
You can turn off the lighting by pressing the on / off button for more than 2 seconds.
When your bottle is empty, take the miXer out of the bottle with the help of the miXtractor and clean the miXer or put it in a new bottle of the same color.
After you have removed the miXer from the bottle with the miXtractor, you can put it in a little bit of acetone to clean it.
Many gels and lacquers contain pellets for mixing. These have no influence on the imix and can remain in the bottle.
If you take the miXer out of a bottle, the pellets can come along. That is not a problem at all. You can put the pellets back in the bottle.
The imix works on round and square bottles, as well as bottles of any shape and size.
You may not be able to hear the miXer spinning due to its larger surface area, but it does spin.
If bottles have not been used for too long, the product may have split completely. In that case it is recommended to shake the bottle before using the imix.
Once mixed, the mixture will keep for a long time. When in doubt, it doesn't hurt to use the imix again.
You can also use the imix for base and top coats, but there is no reason to use imix with base and top coats, because they do not contain color pigments and no splitting will occur.
The imix also works with gel jars, but hard gels are much thicker and therefore the miXer runs much slower. Depending on the thickness of the gel, the imix must therefore remain on longer. Hard gels usually do not need to be mixed with the imix, but it is possible, at least if the jar fits in the imix.
If you use the imix on a very thick gel or lacquer, the imix will let you know by blinking white. The imix then just does its job, but if you think it is necessary, you can switch the imix on again afterwards.
The imix comes with a 1.5 meter USB cable, which can be connected to a laptop or a USB plug.
